PERRY-FOX
A simple but extremely pretty wedding was celebrated in St. John’s Church on Wednesday, when Miss Anita Agnes Fox, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. F. Fox, of Te Puke, was married to Mr Walter James Perry, of Whangarei, third son of Mrs Perry, of Invercargill. The bride, who entered the Church on the arm of her father, looked charming in a dress of cream satin, trimmed with amber beads, lace Dutchicap and veil. Miss Eli (Rose) Fox, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She was dressed in a pretty frock of copper beech satin, trimmed with silver beads; aud black hat, and carried a sheaf of autumn tinted leaves. Mr F. Pearce was the best man. At the close of the ceremony, at which the Rev. J W. Chapman officiated, the relatives and a few old friends of the contracting parties were entertained at the residence of the bride's parents, j Subsequently the newly-married ; pair left for Palmerston North ! and other towns, where the honeymoon is to be spent, prior to settling down in their future home at Whangarei, They were the recipients of many presents, both handsome and useful, as well as several cheques.
