WHEN A WOMAN SINS.
The National Theatre has obtained a startling dramatic film of poignant human interest, "When a Woman Sins," with that great actress, Theda Bara, as the sinner. The extraordinary story which goes up on Saturday tells the story of the regeneration of a modern " Vampire." The idea conveyed in this production is that with the opportunity human beings will err, but that those who err most heavily are amenable to reform. Virtues and vices are, in fact, to be found in each human being. There are many most startling tableaux in this extraordinary film story. Also there is a Sunshine Comedy, "Merry Jailbirds," and a Bud Fisher Cartoon Comedy.
The veteran bowlers are to foregather for their third annual reunion at the Auckland Bowling Green on St. Patrick's Day. Bowlers of twenty-one years' standing who have not yet received invitations may obtain same on application to Mr. J. Carlaw, the secretary, at the Town Hall.
