In pursuance of the "Legislature Act, 1908," and its Amendments, 1, JOHN JOSEPH KEARNEY, Heturning Officer for the Electoral District of Waitemata, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 28th day of November, 1919, under tho hand oi the Clerk of Writs, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as Member for tho said district; and that the latest hour for receiving Nominations of candidates will be Noon on the Bth clay of December, 1919; and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the .several polling places of the s;< district on the 17th day of December, 1919. Every person desirous of becoming a candidate must be nominated ' not loss than two electors of tl:----district, by a nomination paper as prescribed by section 105 of the said Act, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before Noon on the Bth day of December, 1919.
