Ihe Children's Flower Show under the auspices of the Auckland Horticultural Society will be held in the Town Hall on Friday, sth, and Saturday. 6th December. The secretary • Mr. N. A. Duthie, will be pleased to supply any information.

The attention of all Foresters and fnonds is called to the Gigantic lien lc, as per advertisement, the Order is holding at Home Bay, Motutapu, next Saturday. Country members should note the, revival of tho picnic—the first for several years. A most interesting sports programme has been provided, with special attractions: for the young folk. With the funds going'to a special Lodge account a record crowd can be expected.

The St. John Ambulance Association, does a work so noble that few organisations existing in the Empire tor the relvef of suffering humanity can show so splendid a record To augment- the funds of this lnagnifi--0^ ut society there will be held at the JKilJorshe Kacecoursc on Saturday, Deconibcr 6, the finest fete that Auckland has -had in its existence. Jne devoted people who are heart and soul of this organisation in Auckland have spared no trouble to make this a, great success and that they will achieve tliis object every person whose heart beats for the sick and suffering will sincerely hope.
