F. W. PEDDLE has taken an active part in the Politics of this Dominion and Australia for the past twenty years, and has done good work in the development of the industries of the country. After deep consideration and thought he has produced a platform to meet the requirements of the times. MR. PEDDLE is one of the Pioneers of this country, having created out of the wilderness two Homes in New Zealand, and one in Australia. He started life with the proverbial shilling, and has passed through all the struggles of the early settler and pioneer, and has obtained a competency. He is now prepared to devote his time and some of his hard-earned savings to the benefit and betterment of the people, and to give them a more equal share in the wealth of the country. By building up a self-reliant, brave, happy, contented people, owning the freehold of their homes, a people that will not need a Military Service Act for them to fight for their laud if an enemy should dare to infringe their rights. In the event of a No-Confidence Motion I will pledge myself to vote against the Reform Government, but will support the accredited Leader of the Liberal Party; but in the event of a loyal Labour Government being formed I will support the Leader.
