LAWN TENNIS.
The BritisH Team. The third member of the British lawn tennis team to visit Australia this autumn in the challenge round of the Davis Cup will be Captain A. E. Beamish, the old Harrovian. The invitation has been accepted by Captain Beamish subject to his ability to make the necessary arrangements. An old Davis Cup international, Captain Beamish, has represented this country in Australia, America, South Africa, and Sweden. In 1912 he assisted to win back the Davis Cup from Australasia, and in 1913 was double finalist .at Wimbledon with Major J. C. Parke. The completed British team will therefore consist of Lieut.-Col. A. R. F. Kingscote, M.C., Major A. H. Lowe, and Captain A. E. Beamish. They leave England at the end of this month.
