Messrs. Stanley Paul and Co. announce for immediate publication, "The Truth About the Black Book! Germany's Poisoned Literature," by C. Sheridan Jones. The author has marshalled a mass of evidence showing that there exist and flourish in Germany powerful organisations, deliberately devoted to the culture of vice among men, women, and children—decadent, unwholesome, and perverted. Side by side wjth these there has grown up a whole literature, poisoned with the same taint. It is important that the extent to which these evils have re-acted upon the thought and conduct of our own people, should be realised. This is a danger, not the less real because it is underground and insidious. "Quis," by J. A. T. Lloyd; "Tainted Gold," by H. Noel Williams; "Because of Phoebe," by Kate Horn, and "The Temptation of Mary Lister " by E. Everett-Green, have been added to Stanley Paul and Co.'s 2s. 6d. net novel series. Messrs. Greening and Co now have ready a new edition of Jbe Kreutzer Sonata" by Leo Tolstoy, and "Cagliostro and C 0.," by Frantz Funck-Brentano, in their Lotus Library.
