Notice is hereby given that the Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the above Company will be held at the Head Office of the Company. Queen Street, Auckland, on .THURSDAY,, the eleventh day of October, 1917, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon. BUSINESS : To receive the Report and Balance Sheet for the year ended 31st August, 1917. To elect two Directors in the place of . Messrs J. H. Upton and E. R. N. Russell, who retire in accordance with the Articles of Association, but are eligible and offer themselves for re-election. To elect two Auditors in place of Messrs G. S. Kissling and W. B. A. MorYison, who offer themselves for re-electioD, As soon as such business is concluded the Meeting will resolve itself into an Extraordinary General Meeting for the purpose of considering, and, if approved, of passing the following Resolutions:—, That Article 40 of the Articles of Association of the Company be altered by deleting the words following the word "share "in the third line. That Article 81 of the Articles of Association of the Company be altered by substituting therein the words " two thousand nine hundred " for the words " one thousand seven hundred." That Articles 107, 109 and 110 of the Articles of Association of the Company be altered by inserting the words " or bonus " after the word " dividend" wherever it appears in said Articles. Should the above Resolutions orany of them be passed by the. required majority each Resolution so passed will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Resolution to a second Extraordinary Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, the 30th day of October, 1917, at the same time and place. > The Transfer Books of the above Company will be closed from the 28th day of September, 1917, to the 11th day of October, 1917, inclusive.
