The title of "Wholesalers' Queen" has been chosen by the executive representing wholesale warehouses, merchants, wholesale factories, and the Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association. Garden fetes are to be held at Poneonby, Mt. Edlen, and Remuera next Saturday to further the candidature of the Wholesalers' Queen (Mrs. W. H. Parkes).

The committee who have been elected for the Professions and Commerce, to further the candidature of Mrs. Edward Russell as Queen of the Carnival, have published an attractive programme for October elsewhere in this issue.
