AUCKLAND BELGIAN RELIEF FUND. The Committee of the Auckland Provincial Belgian Relief Fund desire to thank the N.Z. ATHLETIC AND CYCLING UNION for their action in donating the proceeds of their Sports on Saturday, 14th inst., to this Fund, and also all those who took part in the Procession to the Domain on that date. In pursuance of the Legislature Act, 1908, and its amendments, I, James Gartside Culpan, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Eden, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 21st day of November, 1914, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as Member for the said District j and that the latest hour for receiving Nominations of Candidates will be Noon on the 30th day of November, 1914, and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several Pollingplaces of the said district, on the TENTH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1914. Every man desirous of becoming a Candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a nomination paper as prescribed'by Section 105 of the said Act, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before noon on the 30th day of November, 1914.
