Tiny Town, the collection of perfectlyformed midgets which has been a tremendous attraction in the Australian centres, opened in Wellington on Monday night at the Town Hall. Tiny Town was brought to Australia by a Company, the shareholders in which are mostly leading Australian musical comedy actors, it oomes to New Zealand under arrangement with Mr Alf Linley, picture show proprietor of Wellington.
The record of " Nobody's Daughter," the trump card of the Plimmer-Dennis-ton repertoire is interesting. In London it was the dramatic success of the 1910-11 season. In America it ran for two entire seasons. Its Australian success to date has been a repetition of the Old World verdict in every way. It ran for nine weeks at the Palace Theatre, Sydney; eight weeks at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne ; and two weeks at each of the Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth Theatres. Already its New Zealand tour has commenced in a phenomenally successful manner. The PlimmerDenniston Company is working up from the South, and will commence its Auckland season at His Majesty's Theatre on Monday, October 14th.
