Late Racing.

On Tuesday morning the South Auckland and Te Aroha candidates were stretched out at Ellerslie. Jolie Fille, who has done a lot of racing round the country meetings successfully, looks Veil. Mr Sam Bradley, the Onehunga sportsman, may pick up a race with First Wairiki before Jong. Mine host of the Occidental Hotel, Mr J. E. Thorpe, captured the Tramway Handicap with Lady Doctor on Saturday last.

Watchchain and Zinnia were picked up by Tipperary over the last four of 7 fur. Watchchain had Zinnia well beaten in 1.30 4-ssec. on the grass.
