—Whether barrister A. Gr. Quartley thinks Judge Edwards' estimate of his capacities wasn't unduly flattering, or whether he concurs ?

—Whether the skipper and crew of the motor launch Virginia intend to provide a top-notch blow-out after the next power boat race ?

—Whether tfhe latest American notion of eavesdropping gram'aiphones isn't pflaying it pretty lowdown, even on suspected dynamitards ?

—Why the Christchurch cricketers should be in such a hurry to take the Plunket Shield back from Auckland, and whether this eager desire has any connection with the agitation /against English professionals playing in inter-provincial matches ? —Why Mayor Coyle, commenting on Health Officer Magill's asylum site report, implied that it might have been more strongly adverse if he had not been a Government officer, and if it doesn't suggest a want iof (confidence in the Government ?
