The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club are holding their Autumn Carnival at the Domain Cricket Ground on Saturday, March 2rtd. The programme is a very attractive one, and entries for all evente will be received by the secretary on Friday and Saturday, February 16 and 17, at the Amateur Sports' Club, His Majesty's Arcade. On Saturday afternoon the brothers of the Ancient Order of Foresters, and their sisters and their cousins and their aunts foregather at the Takapuna racecourse. t The occasion is the fourth Dominion Picnic of the Order, and a fine programme for the enjoyment of folks has been prepared. As usual, at the Foresters' picnics, the children will be well catered for in the shape of prizes, lollies, and the many games dear to their young hearts. The ferry fleet will run a fast eervice to Devonport, commencing at 10 a.m.
