Public Notice is hereby given that at the Ordinary Meeting of the Auckland City DAY, the 22hd day of February, 1912, a Council, to be held in the Council Chamber, Queen-street, Auckland, on THURSDAY, the 22nd day of Sebruary, 1912, a Resolution will be submitted for the confirmation of the following Special Order made at a Special Meeting of the said Council on the 25th day of January, 1912, viz.:—• That the Auckland City Council doth hereby by Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order make the following Bylaws to be known hereafter as By-laws No. 12, viz. (here follow the By-laws):— The object or purport of the said Bylaws is as follows:— To incorporate these By-laws with Bylaws No. 1 of the City of Auckland. To define the terms "Consumer," " Electrical Engineer," and " Electrical Plant." To fix the method of application for the supply of electricity. To require a deposit if necessary. To provide for the laying of service into premises. To forbid the connection of wire switch terminals or other apparatus with the electric plant until the same have been inspected" and approved, and to provide for such inspection. To provide for the disconnection of a consumer's installation when defective un- j til such defect is remedied. \ To provide for the inspection at any , time of a consumer's installation, and for the inspection of work in progress to be < ultimately connected to the electric plant. I To allow of the disconnecting of a con- | Burner's premises from the electric plant < for testing purposes." !
