WORKERS' HOMES, AT ELLERSLIE. Notice is hereby given that 13^ Workers' Homes of 4 rooms and 5 rooms each, with all conveniences, at Lawry Settlement, EUerslie, will be opened for application under the provisions of the Workers' Dwellings Act, 1908, at the Lands Office, Cus-tom-street, Auckland, on MONDAY, 28th June, 1909, where forms, conditions, and other particulars can' also be obtained on request. The areas of the holdings vary from 24 perches to 37 perches, and the monthly rentals from £2 13s 5d upwards, according to mode of selection. The rentals also include fire insurance premium and local rates. Applications must be lodged not later than 4 p.m. on 28th June. Examination of applicants will take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, 30th June, at the Lands Office, Custom-house Buildings. Where there is more than one approved applicant for the same homo a ballot will be held on Thursday, Ist July, at 2 p.m. An officer will be at the settlement, EUerslie, on Wednesday and Saturday in each week from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to show intending applicants over tho homes and supply forms, etc. Suitable references must accompany ouch application.
