In accordance with the provisions of "The Education Act, 1908," it is hereby notified that there will be Three Vacancies in the Education Board of the District of Auckland, viz. :— NORTH WARD : Mr A. R. Harris to retire. EAST WARD : Mr L. J. Bagaall to retire. WEST WARD: Mr C. T. Barriball to retire. An Election of One Member for each Ward will be held on MONDAY, the 26th day of July, 1909. Nominations of candidates for election will close at 5 o'clook on the afternoon of MONDAY, the sth day of July, 1909. The member for each ward shall be elected by the members of the Committees of the school districts within such ward ; and each member of the Committee shall have one vote in respect of each school (other than a side school) in the school district. No person shall be eligible as a Candidate for election unless he is nominated in writing, in the form prescribed, by at least two electors, and the nomination paper, bearing the candidate's consent in writing, is received by the undersigned before 6 o'clock on the afternoon of MuNDAY, the 6th day of July, 1909.
