Paritutu is expected to figure as a hurdle racer at the forthcoming Wellington Winter Meeting. Auckland has nominated freely for the jumping; events aY the Wellington Meeting. Those entered are Inniskillen, Haydn, hn.tere, Irish, Lady Huno, Le Beau, Aqua Kegia, Loch Fyne, Shrapnel, Ouiragno, Ben Johnson and Cavalry. Tf a leading English paper can he relied upon, King Kdward and his trainer, Richard Marsh, are among those who have a pronounced dislike for tluv American style of riding. To satisfy two sets of employers the young jockey Herbert Jones (who rides for Marsh's stable) has to let out two or three holes of his stirrup leathers when wearing < the Royal livery, and to pull i.liem up again when riding for patrons outside the Kgerton House establishment.
