In accordance with the provisions of "The •Education Act, 1904," and of "The Education Act Amendment Act, 1905," it is hereby notified that there will be Thrfe Vacancies in the Education Board of the District of Auckland, namely :— NORTH WARD— Mr J. D McKenzie to retire. EAST WARD —Mr H. J. Greenslade, M.H R., to retire. WEST WARD-Mr F. W. Lang, M.H.8., to retire. An Election of One Member for each ward will be held on MONDAY, the twenty-second day of July, 1907. Nominations of Candidates for Election will close at five o'clock on the afternoon of MONDAY, the first day of July, 1907. The Member for each wardi shall be elected by the Members of the Committees of the school districts within such Ward ; and each member of the Committee shall have one vote in respect of each school (other than a side school) in the school district. No person shall be eligible .as a Candidate for election unless he is nominated in writing, in the form prescribed, by at least Two Electors, and the Nomination Paper, bearing the Candidate's consent in writing is received by the undersigned before five o'clock on the afternoon of MONDAY, the first day of July, 1907.
