THOROUGH OF PARNELL " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and the same Act Amendment, 1902, and " The Local Elections Act, 1901." We hereby give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Parnell will be taken at the Parnell Borough Council Chambers, on THURSDAY, the 26th day of July idem, between the hours of 9 o'olock a.m. and 7 o'olock p.m., upon the following proposal of the Parnell Borough Council, namely : — To Borrow a Sum not exceeding £4,750, at a rate of interest not exceeding 44 per cent per annum, towards the formation and constructing in a permanent manner of the Manukau rd., and other roads and streets in the Borough, and extending the Water Supnly, etc., £4,750. The said Loan to be payable in forty years. It is proposed to pledge aB security for payment of interest and repayment of said Loan, part of a Special Rate of Threepence (3d) in the £ on the ratable value of the ratable properties within the Borough. The said Loan to be repayable in forty years. It is proposed to pledge as security for payment of interest and repayment of said Loan part of a Special Rate of Threepence (8d) in the £ on the ratable value of the ratable properties within the Borough.
