MANUREWA.

The Manurewa division of the

Auckland Mounted Rifles held their annual At Home on Friday, Sept. 19th in the Papalrara Hall. In spite of the inclemency of' the weather, some 40 odd couples were present, and the floor being in splendid order, a most enjoyable evening was spent in dancing. The hall was tastefully decorated with flags, ferns and Chinese lanterns. The programme consisted of eighteen dances, the music being supplied by Mr P. Meredith's band in a most efficient manner. The duties of M.'sC. were carried out by Troopers T. Barr, S. Harrowell and A. J. White.
