BELL BLOCK,
The ball held on the 14th was a tip-top turn out. Supper was laid out in the neatest of ways. -B K was piling it on with L N..Who was the favourite with W X? I think it was either E D or K D. .Too bad of H K to give C H the cat in order to have a spoon with Miss W. Served you right to lose them both, H...The Misses F and Miss B were great, favourites, and sang splendidly.. ..Who pelted the dust?.. lt wasn't bad of AW to ask & certain matron if he could have the laßt dance with her daughter on the following Thursday... S V and A H still stick together.. Wanted, be3t boys for B G aud A 0...D 8 and B it were cutting a great dash. .R was piling it on with S 8 from WaibL.E C seemed to be quite charmed with the bell Block girls. Is that what made you jump about like a cat on hot bricks, E?..What oought J M all the way from Okura? Ha, ha, I see it, Jim. . J N andL W were not quite so thick as usual. Won't last much longer, I'm afraid. .The boys say that D Me is the best waltzer in B 8..L suppose H W and J A will make it up again now that W A has gone to Biltham... Where did W K and H B get to on Thursday before the dance ? Was it to Waitara ? Pushing bikes along and leading a horse with a beat girl on its back comes a bit hard, says W.
