Owing to 1 the inclemency of the weather on Saturday night, the dance was anything bat a success. ..Miss S looked quite forlorn. Was it because J S was not there ? The ever-watchful S P continues to have a look in at the dance room door on Saturday nights. Is it Yankee grab you play, S ?. .It was too bad of the girls not to ' have 'em all on ' when C G went to take them to the dance. .A Me is paying great attention to the Royal Hotel since the arrival of the new divinity...L C's admirers seem to be very numerous. I noticed P 0 was best boy on Sunday night...H C is still going strong. 'Quit your teasing, H'..One of the greatest hits at the Band of Hope was the heartrending strains of ' Take me 'Ome, ho ! take me 'Ome.'
