PARNELL.
Another successful surprise party was held in Parnell last week, and mashing was carried on as usual... Who are the two boys that seem to think it is quite the thing to go without taking their supper with them ? Surely riot D L andH E..The girls thought they had the O M picked out when they taclded FT. Long way out this time, girls... J B did a great mash with all the boys and seemed to enjoy M R's company immensely. . Has W given J A best ; and is M B the coming one ?...W C and E W seem to be a regular love-sick pair. But never mind, D ; you can flatter yourself on having one of the prettiest girls in Parnell. .F T looked quite lonely without BA. Cheer up, F ; some day he'll wander back again.. Which of the young gentlemen was it who passed the remark that E W looked as sweet as sugar ? And he meant it, too; therefore the O M would like to warn D Cto be careful, as the fair E may take the compliment as a proposal... Why don't W W and T G get best girls ?
