Weddings are all the go in our district just now. No less than three have taken place within the la3t three months, and several more are anticipated before the close of 1898. It is to be hoped that the several anticipated couples will give the boys a better spree than the three recently married.. The O M had his note-book at the young ladies' ball held in the school on the 3rd. About fifteen to twenty couples put in an appearance and dancing was kept up until daylighfin the morning. .MBshing was not up to. its usual form. little was done seemed to fall to one couple, and if conceit were consumption they would not have long to live...H B certainly ought to study the Ball-room Guide. Three or four dances in succession with the same lady is too strong. But, no doubt, you were infatuated with the lady in blue.. Rumour hath it that B D and M G will be the next to start the wedding belis a ringing. Get your cans ready, boys. ...W K was doing things very heavily with RA. Where does E come in, R ?
