Wheels within wheels. —Whether Graves Aickin is to have a ' cut ' in that kinship presentation to the American Colonel, and, if not, why not? —Whether the Waihi, Silverton is paying its buggy hire now. Surely the gentleman who exhibited a ' full plate ' in full use settled the question. — Whether certain documeuts in the possession of a member of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board will be in evidence when the inquiry into Charitable Aid affairs in Auckland is held ? — Whether Inspector Hickson ought not to ask permission to withdraw his statement attributing the larrikinism and bad language at Newton to the would-be volunteer force ? — What steps are being taken to let the Australian people know about our approaching Exhibition. It is no use proparing a big show unless we invite the Australasian world at least to come and Bee it. When J. H. Witheford is going to get that knighthood ? If Her Majesty doesn't hurry up, our own Harbour Board will have to invest him with' the ■ order of the Calliope Dock, or create him Earl of Freeman's Bay. — If the Auckland members have sufficient nous to co-operate ia carrying out the wishes of the meeting recently called to. consider the North Island Trunk Bailway, or will they again allow themselves to be led by the nose oy the political railway rings of the South ?
