CHARLESTON.
The dance held at the Institute Hall on Wednesday night was well attended, and proved very enjoyable. .Some of the boys were very noisy in the hall. Must have had too much barley-water... J C seemed one of the shiniDg lights present.. .E H looked worried. Was it the boots.E ?. .They say J L had a nice spoon with K W at the dance.. .The girls missed P J very much. What abont the Back Lead Road, P ?...They say P M is still after A W. Wish you luck. . How is it that H L and L G are not so thick lately?. ..lt is said that G P and J H are to be united in the bonds of wedlock next Sunday. Get the cans ready, boys...N O'C says that P J is very plucky inthe snow. .S H does some fancy running now when he sees M M. You don't mean it, 8 ?... t i. seems a bit struck on P H,
