LLORENTE'S LAXATIVE PILLS PURELY VEGETABLE, CONTAINS KO MERCURY. FOR THE CURE OF CONSTIPATION, HEADACHE, DIZZINESS, SLUGGISH LIVEK, AND BILiOUS DISORDEKS GENERALLY. Constipation. Constipation ia the result of the inactivity of the bowels from want of tone, which causes a sluggishness in their action and a consequent retention of useless and even dangerous mailer iv the system, and which very naturally causes all the disagreeable symptoms which are so familiar to tnose suffering from this trouble, which makes life tiresome. Besides the headache", dull, heavy feeling, sense of weight and fulness, troubled dreams, etc., etc., for which CONSTIPATION is responsible, there is still another very serious and disagreeable result from it, and that is the PIL-.S, which very frequently disappear as soon as the bowels are regulated, and so also cease the other disagreeable symptoms. Though Constipation is one of the bugbears of life, yet when the proper medicine is used it is a comparatively easy matter to overcome it. Llorente's Laxative Pills are composed of harmless and yet medicinally active drugs, and are the result of many years assiduous study ; they tone up the bowels and invigorate them, causing them to become regular, and consequently the disagreeable symptoms subside and disappear. Dose. — 1 to 3 pills at first ; this dose to be gradually reduced as the bowels improve in action. Headaclie. Headaches often arise from disordered bowels and torpid, sluggish Liver. Llorente's Pills, as they stimulate the action of the bowels, also work off the excess of bile in the stomach, and so act as a cure for bilious and sick headache, iacilitating digestion and removing dyspepsia and kindred troubles. Dose. — 1 to 8 pills, as occasion requires. Dizziness. Dizziness and vertigo many times arise from ail excess of bile in the 3totnach, from retained feces, and sometimes are the result of piles consequent on constipation. As Llorente's Pills correct these evils, so they cause the disappearance of this dizziness. For this trouble the dose is as for Headache. Sluggish Liver and Bilious Disorders Generally. The cause of a Sluggish Liver, which brings so many Bilious troubles in its train, are too many to enumerate here ; be they, however, what they may, Llorente's Pills act as an excellent medicine in all such cases, for they regulate and stimulate the Liver, causing a normal flow of the bile and thus regulating digestion and the bowels, clearing the tongue and removing the disagreeable bitter taste in the mouth caused by a disordered Liver. Dose. — 1 to 3 pills to commence, and a gradual decrease of this dose, both in frequency and quantity, as the case improves. Caution. Purchasers are warned to look for the trade mark, ' The Mandrake Plant,' which appears on the label and wrapper of every bottle of Llorente's Laxative Pills, and to imitate which is felony.
