AWITU.
The flagstaff camp boys kept up the New Year by a dance in the hall in the evening. Judging from the attendance, it must have been a financial success. Mr O Howe acted as M C. Dancing commenced at 8, and was kept up with spirit till day light.. The O M would like to know what takes A H to the dances when he doesn't dance ; is it to mash LB at the window ? If that is so, he'll have to look out, or F G will be trending on his corns . .Didn't E C look like a hero singing ' Nobody knows what trouble was there ?' . . Too bad of S H not to lend her smoothing iron to M when she was going to do up a shirt so nicely for W.. It was very wrong of B T in the morning to leave W standing at the door, after taking her to the dance. Poor "W ! two-and-sixpence gone.. Who got the green peas?. What was K T doing to let his horse run away on Sunday evening, eh?.. When is J P going to give the camp boys the other part of his sermon ? Perhaps B M would like to have it next time.
