THAMES
A most enjoyable evening party was held in St. George's Hall, Thames, in connection with the Catholic Church, and the arrangements reflect great credit on the energetic committee who had the management. A word of praise is specially due to Miss Foy, hon. sec, and Mr G. Walters, M.C. Songs were given during the evening by Mrs Bruce and Miss Gerrish, and Messrs Johnston and Paul. A good programme of dances was gone through, extras being played by several of the ladies during the evening. Amongst those present I noticed : • Mrs Truscott, rery pretty olive green and pink ; Mrs Capt. Bayldon, black and gold; Mrs «/. Walters, red and green shot merveilleux; Mrs R. S. Thorburn, handsome black silk; Mrs Sullivan, pale green blouse, black silk skirt ; Mrs Bern, pale green with black velvet bars (very pretty) ; Mrs Bruce, black satin ; Miss Foy, cream silk ; Miss M. Twohill, sea-green; Miss B. Miller, cream silk; Miss M. Miller, black, with pink sleeves ; Miss Hellander, black silk skirt, pink blouse ; Miss Brown, black and white ; Miss Walters, pink, with black lace ; Miss Koeford, cream ; Miss Constant, black ; Miss Bruce, pale pink silk (handsome); Miss Buckland, navy blue; Miss Koonan, black skirt, pink blouse; Miss Adlan, black and white ; Miss Gerrish, biscuit and old gold ; Miss Black, black silk ; Miss Kerr, white silk with pale blue ; Miss N. Twohill, navy blue skirt, pale blue blouse, etc., etc.
