DARGAVILLE.
Since the football things have dropped back again into their old course.. . I notice that P. 8., when in town always gets his O. before anything else. He likes to see others getting rubbed up...A.J's. passion has cooled off considerably ; he is not so fond of inspecting the Mangawhare roads as he was some little time back... F.H. looks quite desolate now that H.L. has once more gone to work again. . . J.E.S. and F.D., I hear, have had a rupture ; so much the better for S's. next girl.. .A.McL. may often be seen at McD's. M.A., is I believe his attraction.. .G.M. did look sweet in church when the Rev. Hasledene was here. I wonder which interested him most, the sermon or the young ladies whom he had charge of?. .A.W.and J.B.C. are being done badly fox the Railway Plate. T.S. holds the winning hand.. .Get the tin cans ready, boys . I.W. and G.S. will need them next month. ..A.S. and A.H. are, I hear, oil a fair road to tying with their tongues what they cannot undo with their teeth.
