A brilliant record in the vehicle line w;is put up here yesterday by Sally Viclickitosky. a nurse-girl. In the presence of an enormous crowd, including several crowned heads, she ran a race with perambulators (each containing twins) with another nurse-girl in the principal street. The race, which was a thrilling one, ended in Sally travelling at the rate of ten miles in three minutes, to the violent death of the babies. A riot ensued in which fourteen people were shot by the military.
