The last social was a big success... F.S, fairly brought down the house with the violin solo... Miss H. sang sweetly... C.C. sang better than ever as M.H. was there... H.S. smiled sweetly to somebody when B. sang 'In the Gloaming.'. .R.J.N. looks very sad since the young lady left. She's only gone to Hastings, G. Pluck up. . . Someone tells the O.M. Miss O. has given T. up. Too 510w. .. Miss N. is a constant visitor to the corner still. Don't please, you are making all the girls jealous".. .The Misses R. were quite pleased to see their names in the 0., only G.R. doesn't like it.. . W.G-. is away for a change... The flower of the mission was at the social. Where was J. 8 . .. S.P. and Miss R. are to run in double harness shortly, I hear. What .will T.A. say to that. . . Our only G. has recovered but is keeping very quiet since the S.C. election.. .You ought to see G.R. blink when passing the P.O. stables. .. Great demand for the O. last week... We all enjoyed 'Uncle Tom.'
