PAEROA.
E.M. and W.G., of the Store, were doing a heavy mash the other Sunday. Didn't think the O.M. had his eye on them....H.E. must have had a fine time of it with the two Thames girls. Ton look quite lost since they went away.. ..What takes G-.N. around the bask blocks so often P Is it to buy a dog-collar or to Bee the fair one jnst opposite?... They say P.M. ia going to enlarge his mansion at the Gully. Thinking about Battling 1 down, eh, P.?... M.5. says she won't have anything to do with the Paeroa mashers. They are not up to the Te Aroha boys. That's a knock for W.D. ?...I noticed R.Me A. and F.G. piling it on down the. junction road the other evening. What about the Thames girl E. ?
...A.C. looks quite sad since C.S.s departure for the other side. Cheer up, A. someday, etc.. ..With a little practice and E.G. as a confederate, C.S. would read all the young ladies thoughts to perfection. Oh,, you're a cunning boy, C. P...F.M. says nobody has a ghost of a show with N.L. while he's about.. ..All tbe young gents, are cultivating a nice mo. E.C. will be left in the shade with his if he doesn't hurry up. You'll want it for the winter too, E. - "
