INGLEWOOD (TARANAKI).
T.T. Beemed off-colour at the football match on Thursday. Was he really knocked on the head ?..Mrs B. is getting up an opposition dance. How foolish of people to get certain notions in their heads. We all have to work for our bread and why not be sociable with each other?.. Who was the young man under that lady's charge at the dance ? Why not put a placard, on his baok : ' Not to be introduced to the riff-raff'? Ba ! suoh things sicken the 0.M...W.M. puts on a lot of side at the dances.. .The man from Taranaki Road seemed to enjoy the dance the other night. Look out, F. or he will cut you out I. .W.L-, of Kaiwate Road, is going to run in double harness shortly, I hear. Get your tin cans ready, boys.
