The people ■won't stand too much of it, and you ought to know that if we show our. hand too much just now our party* will be in disrepul at the elections. Moneybags : Elections be blowed. My principle is plenty of work for little money. Them's the sentiments the party preaches, ain't they William? White slaves on the gumfields suits my pockets, and they'll have to suit our party.
