W.G.P., Pakuranga — Have had your photo before and have ' read ' it. Why send it again ? Have posted back to you.
132, Nobmanby.— You are conceited, fond of dress and finery, and not very sweettempered. You are energetic, sharp, quick-witted, soon learn, and are ambitious.
Puss.— Another faded photo ! You are thoughtful, reserved, don't make up yonr mind in a hurry. You have a strong will, and some people may think you rather cold, four temper is even. You have the forehead of a student. Woolloojiooloo. — You are very lively, fond of society and all kinds o£ gaiety. You are a quick observer, are fairly good-tempered and strong-willed. You just love excitement. You make lots of friends. You have a <?ood head and if you are not musically gifted your face belies you.
Paddy Miles' Boy.— You are full of fun, free and easy; devil-may-care, with a warm heart, a hot temper, and a stubborn will. You are a great boy for the girls, Paddy. But you are a bit conceited, you know. You sing a good comic song, and can be the best of ' company 'ifj on like. More power to you!
Cock For,Es.— Who gave you that name? You aro fond of fun, but your leading characteristics are your caution and obstinacy. No good to ask you to do what you don't want to do.' You are quick-tempered, and impatient of restraint or guidance. Shouldn't wonder if you knew how to sulk, either. Bessie.— Yon are a quiet, reserved, and rather observant girl, with a firm will. You are very sensitive, and rather imaginative. Do you write ? Your temper would be rather warm once fairly roused, but it is not readily roused. You speak with firmness and decision. You are capable of forming strong attachments but yet do not make friends very readily. Sissy. — You are a strong-willed, determined young lady, with a good, level head, and plenty of energy, and force of character. You are not one to put things off. -You go straight at what, you undertake. Your temper is good as a rule, but you can say sharp things sometimes — things tinged with a little sarcasm. You have good command of language and are a good hand at planning and contriving. A.J., Thames.— You are studious, and possessed of great perseverance. You will toil at a thing that interests you. You are obstinate, self-opinionated, and fond of having your own way. Tamper is not always as sweet as honey. Liable to be irritable at times. You are inquisitive, want, to know all about everything, you know. There is nothing frivolous about you, though. You are too much in earnest for that. Essie. — Not a well- taken photo, by any means. Why will those anxious to have their characters read persist in sending wretched photos ? After this week I intend to reject all unsuitable photos. I cannot do myself justice or those whose characters I am ask«d to read, if inferior photos are sent to me. You are a cautious, observant vcung lady, firm-willed, sincere, fond of fun, and a great talker. You tire very sensitive. Impossible to .tell you more from this photo.
E.J., Thames.— l do nof; care for sidefaces. The full-face is much more suitable for ' reading.' You possess many characteristics in common with your sister, 'A.J. Like her, you are capable of working very bard'ai what interests you. And your temperament is much the same as your sister's — a rather cold, dispassionate one. You are reserved, and obstinate and think more of study than of the things that appeal to the tastes of most girls.
I Phiz ' in always pleased to hear from Correspondents whose photos he has ' read ' and to learn whether they consider such reading is correct or otherwise. He is already in receipt of numerous letter, testifying to his remarkable accuracy as a character-reader.")
