PANMURE.

The Excelsior Minstrels gave a very amusing entertainment in aid of St. Matthias's Church Fund, in the Foresters' and Public Hall, Panmure, on Friday evening last, 6th inst. There was a very good attendance considering the stormy weather that night, which kept many away. At the conclusion of the entertainment the room was cleared, and dancing was kept up with great vigour till 2.30 a.m. The following were some of the dresses worn on the occasion : — Miss Honin, pink costume, with vest of cream Bilk ; Mrs G. Kay, sage green velvet with vest of check silk ■ Miss Bodgers, black, with sleeves and trimmings of velvet ; Miss N. Bodgers, black costume; Miss Laing, cream liberty silk body and maroon skirt ; Miss Lizzie Kay, white, with vest and trimmings of blue; Miss N. Kay, black, with figured satin bodice ; Miss Fleming, white ; Miss Hogan, flowered delaine ; Miss Ganley, black costume ; Mrs J. Gavin, fawn costume, with trimmings of satin to match ; Mrs Thos. Kay, maroon costume, with sleeves and trimmings of brocaded velvet ; Mrs McLeod, white bodice and blue skirt ; Mrs Bright, pink bodice and white skirt ; Mrs B. Kay, dark blue, with cream lace ; Miss Pierce, blaok velvet costume ; Miss Burke, black, with satin bodioe ; Mrs Wixon, navy blue costume; Mrs 'Wm. Kay, navy blue, with sleeveß and trimmings of velvet ; Miss Cashman, cream 3kirt and cardinal bodice ; Miss Bell, brown costume ; Mrs C. Funke, juur., black relieved with pink.
