We might suggest the Sydney Dead Bird as the sort of paper that would suit you, if it is still in existence. Annie. — You will find this a good recipe for a lemon padding. One lemon, \\ pints of milk, Jib of freshly grated bread crumbs, l£oz of butter, 2oz of sugar, 3 eggs. Put the rind of the I lemon in the milk to infuse for twenty minutes, then bring it gently to the boil, and pour it over the bread crumbs ; add the butter and sugar, and the eggs well beaten. Pour the mixture into a pie-dish which has been lined with puff pastry, and bake for three quarters of an hour in a moderate oven.
