The sculling race for the Championship of the World between Tom Sullivan, of Auckland and J. Stanbury will take plase on Monday next on the Parramatta Eiver. I sincerely hope that ' our Tom ' will mn. C. Hesketh and J. Lambert must be pleased with themselves after getting the Rugby Union to give Suburbs such a big territory to select from. Suburbs will be nearer than second for the Cup this season. The Wanderers C.C. all enjoyed their trip to Warkworth and Mahurangi. They played three matches, winning 2 and losing 1. J. R. Lundon performed the best with the bat and P. J. Ohlson with the ball. Jimmy Allen, the team's 1 masher ' acquitted himself best with the maidens.
