Wasn't Jim, from the store, and Phoebe doing the amiable on Sunday evening. Dan says he will take Maggie as a partner after another year's hay-cutting. Were Tom and Mary- Ann looking for birds' nests after they left the seat at the corner, the other evening ? Wasn't Ted, the fiddler piling on the jam at Bombay the other night with Maggie. I believe Owen is to get the 75 acres with the heiress for a start.
