Harvey Brothers' Variety Combination.

The advent of the Harvey Brothers, with their renowned company of variety entertainers, is a much looked forward to event. This talented combination will make their first appearance in Auckland at Abbott's Opera House on Monday evening next, when they will, no doubt, be greeted by a bumper house, as a minstrel and variety organisation of such a high standard of merit has not yisited this city for some considerable time. Quite a feature of the show will be the appearance of Miss Helen Gordon Gunard, the gifted Australian prima donna, who is spoken of by our Southern contemporaries in moat eulogistic terma, and is acknowledged to be the finest vocalist in the Southern Hemisphere. The Harveys (William and Charles), noted for their funnyisms and witty sayings and doings, will also contribute towards making the show popular during their season here. Besides these are numerous other artists, all known to fame a3 first-class performers in their own particular branch, amongst whom are:— Miss Violet Brandon (vocalist and dancer), Fraulein Ella Siegfried (German serio and topical vocalist), Mr Harry Cowan (comedian and dancer), Vincent Magea (Irish vocalist and steel skate dancer), Carl Beidle (club swinger), Cunard (solo ban joist) and Arthur Fawcett, (tenor). All the above-mentioned performers are new to Auckland and bring with them excellent reputations, A change of programme will be given twice weekly, and well filled houses will undoubtedly be the order of the day.
