Willie has left off painting and taken to carting since the nice little carter's daughter was out from Brighton. Albert was piling it on with Lizzie on Saturday. Little Jack is very backward at popping the question. Pluck up, old boy, you've been going there long enough . Mitchell says the picnic was very quiet. Was it because the lily of Maketu wasn't there ? Trooper Jack was shocked when that young lady told him he was not wanted. Pat and Maggie were seen together frequently through the clay en Saturday.
