Wanted, a Name for an Onslow.

Lord Onslow is in a difficulty, and it ia the duty of every cane and sympathetic colonist to help him out of it. His trouble is all along of the latest addition to his family circle. In the course of an appeal to the Wellington public, His Excellency referred with mingled feelings to his baby boy thus :—' Whatever troubles this young person might give to his parents in the future, in the present there was but one, and that was to find a suitable name which Bbould characterise him for ever as a young New Zealander and always remind him of the place of his birth.; One would think there was no great difficulty in supplying this want. '-Kewi ' or • Tawhiao' would be highly respectable names for the young person, but probably ' Mahuki ' or • Heke ' would more forcibly remind the lordling of the land of his birth. Or if a name with a touch of humour in it is desired, why not call him • Ngatoro-i-Bangi Onslow ?' Ngatoro, etc., was a great Maori chief who came over at the Conquest, and the name, translated, would mean — Kunner of the Sky, On Slow! /
