Kuaotunu's first ball was a great success. The Maori queen was the belle. Maudy was the only lady with a chaperon. The two sisters would have looked better in long dresses. Jack the Ripper, keep it dark, old boy. You did look disappointed at the ball. jLet it grow, Charley ; you look a fright. Or should I call you Mr Charles ?
