To all entreaties he won't yield, So Richard is not in the field ; But when men wisdom learn, he may Consent to fight another day. Thanks, Bichard ; we are glad, and trust Your sword, ' Evangel,' may not rust, Ere you a fitting time can find To make all voters of one mind. Great Richard, will you not consent To stand just now tor Parliament ? Do ! great man, for your City's good, And earn her lasting gratitude.
