An anomaly.— As long as the Auckland Burns Club is a Peace Club, it will be a War Club. To which ; Sandy McNab adds— "Ay, and there couldna be a waur club than that !"
A certain gallant Captain is said to have made a hurried exit from Auckland, without going through the formality of paying his debts. Can he have been frightened away by the Ghost ?
We have fstill a few copies of the Bank of New Zealand pamphlet on hand, but will probably have to issue a further edition, to meet the demand for copieß to send Home by San Francisco mail next week.
