Auckland Honest
Some people think that Aucklanders are all dishonest, and that, when not engaged compounding with their creditors.they are compounding felony, squaring prosecutors, etc. That is a huge mistake, as the following instance will show: — The other night, Mr Slinn, bootmaker, City Hall Buildings, went home to the bosom of his family, leaving four pairs of leggings hanging outside his door. He never expected to see them again, but next morning, on going to open his place of business, they were still there. There ia hope for Auckland yet, eh ?
