LADIES
— Miss Newton is a pretty skater. She glides round without apparent effort. Her costumes are always well chosen. — Miss Walton is about the best all-round lady skater at the Zealandia. Her dainty cream dress with tints of crimson, is very cli ic. — Miss Burns is a very promising pupil, though comparatively a beginner. She is fast mastering the varied intricacies of the roller art. — Miss Eoberts looks charming in a pretty pi ik dress, and dark crimson bonnet trimmed with ribbon to match ; long white silk gloves. —Miss Johnson is thorough mistress of the roller art. Her charming seal- brown dress, with pale coral blouse, brown Gem hat with pink garniture, are very picturesque. — Miss Scott can skate backwards with surjmsing velocity. Her latest rinking costume is a soft grey Carmelite, handsomely braided with black ; Gem hat garnished with crimson ; long Suede gloves. —Miss Anderson's lancy skating is much admired. Pier pretty feats are enhanced by an artistic white dress with gold-coloured waist band ; tulle hat relieved by tan- coloured bows ; white gloves.
