GENTLEMEN.
— Mr Dawson goes in for mashing — the kauri. We never saw the feat accomplished with more grace. —Mr Mackay's rinking is full of dignity. The graceful uprightness of his body in turning the corners is immense. — Mr Turner tried the long curve business the other night. Would have clone it, too, if his skates had been any good. — Mr Hunt's skating is a study— of angles. The way he does the one-leg feat, with the accompaniment of gently swaying arms, is the very poetry of motion.
